Ong Kiet Ancient House is located in Dong Hoa Hiep Village, Cai Be District, Tien Giang Province. Built in the early 20th century by Mr. Tran Tuan Kiet, a wealthy merchant, the house carries strong French colonial architectural influences with delicate, harmonious details.
The house is built in the traditional three-room style of the Vietnamese, but it is modernized with French architectural features such as bright red tile roofs, arched windows, and intricate decorative patterns. Inside, the wood furnishings are finely carved, reflecting the wealth and refined aesthetic sense of the owner.
