Thuy Duong Homestay
Located 120 km from Ho Chi Minh City, just 2 to 2.5 hours by car, you will arrive at Thuy Duong Home, nestled in a charming small village on Nhanh Cai Son Road, An Hoa Hamlet, Dong Hoa Hiep Commune, Cai Be District, Tien Giang Province, approximately 500 meters from Provincial Road 864. Guests will be transported to the Home by electric car.
This place is very peaceful and hospitable. You will immerse yourself in the natural scenery with tropical fruit gardens and experience the typical activities of this region.

The Mekong Delta emerges like a colossal ink-wash painting, with vast swathes of green from endless rice fields and lush orchards heavy with fruit. The expansive water landscape, crisscrossed by a dense network of canals and streams winding through villages, creates a distinctive beauty unique to this region. The lives of the people in the Mekong Delta are deeply intertwined with the waterways, where boats and sampans serve as the primary means of transportation.
You will leisurely cycle along village roads shaded by cool, green trees, breathe in the fresh air, and listen to the melodious chirping of birds. The feeling of relaxation and peace will dispel all the fatigue and stress of everyday life.
Sitting on the motorboat, you will admire the majestic beauty of the great rivers like the Tien River and the Hau River. Along the riverbanks are rows of cool green water coconut trees and simple stilt houses nestled under the shade of the palms. Occasionally, you will spot boats laden with fruits and agricultural products traveling up and down the river.
Experiencing the thrill of rowing a boat through narrow canals will make you feel as if you’ve wandered into a cool, green maze. You will immerse yourself in nature, admiring rows of melaleuca trees and clusters of water coconut palms casting their reflections on the water’s surface.
You will have the opportunity to witness firsthand the process of making traditional handcrafted products from the Mekong Delta, such as rice paper, green rice cakes, and coconut candy. You can even participate in some stages of production and enjoy the delicious treats you make yourself.
Stroll through the lush fruit orchards and enjoy the delicious seasonal fruits. In the evening, you will be treated to the sweet and soulful melodies of đờn ca tài tử, a unique art form of Southern Vietnam.
The countryside market in the Mekong Delta is a place where the unique cultural traits of the Southern people come together. You will immerse yourself in the lively and colorful atmosphere of the market, and engage in conversations with the friendly and hospitable local people.
You will experience the fun of catching snails from the ditch, then turning them into simple yet delicious dishes that are characteristic of the Mekong Delta. Boiled snails, snails grilled with pepper, and snails steamed with ginger leaves… are all tasty dishes that have been closely tied to the life of the Southern people since ancient times.

Merveilleux séjour dans ce magnifique Homestay raffiné où le personnel est aux petits soins pour nous! Nous avons délicieusement bien mangé des plats locaux préparés et décorés avec délicatesse! Notre guide, Thaï était adorable, attentionné, drôle et avait beaucoup de connaissances. Nous avons fait avec lui de belles visites à vélo, et testé certains métiers artisanaux locaux et cuisiné des raviolis et nems! Nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps!🤩
